Band Camp

TWPS P&C Band Camp is the highlight of the year for many students.  It is usually held in late May or early June over 2 days and 1 night.

For 2019, the band camp is confirmed as 23-24 May.
Pennant Hills Scout Camp

The Band Camp is an excellent opportunity for our budding musicians to spend two days concentrating on their musical skills and their performance in the school band.  It is hoped that all students in a school band will attend giving each band the best chance to practise their group playing.  The students will alternate tutoring with band rehearsals to increase their musical ability.  This is a parent organised event with teacher support on the day; it is exhausting but great fun!

The cost of the camp is generally under $230 per child with a sibling discount available.  The fee includes all meals and shared cabin accommodation for the children.  There is a full program of instrument group tutorials, rehearsals and fun activities scheduled.

Our bandmaster, Mr Bell, instrument tutor, parent volunteers and school teachers also attend so there is lots of support for those who are away on their first school camp.
