TWOOSH offers Before & After School Care, Vacation Care, and care on Staff Development Days for families of our wonderful community at Thornleigh West. We provide care for school aged children from K-6 in a safe, caring, and fun environment on the grounds of Thornleigh West Public School. We are a not-for-profit centre managed by a volunteer parent committee and are approved to cater for up to 200 places.
We have a child-focused approach where each child is welcome, included, and nurtured. We recognise the importance of play and providing children with choices and challenges, and have a flexible, free-play approach which is supported by the framework, ‘My Time, Our Place’.
At TWOOSH, Before School Care is a great way to ease into the school day with free play, craft, or a variety of games on the basketball court and out the front of the TWOOSH building! Our After School Care program is a much busier session with a range of activities to choose from. You might be gardening one minute or cooking the next all while building a cubby house or testing your limits in outdoor sport. During Vacation Care, we have a range of Excursions, Incursions, and In-centre days each week. We open our centre to the broader local community, and this is a great opportunity for children to make new friends during the school holidays. Our program is free flowing, child-led and there is always something for everyone at TWOOSH!

OOSH fees 2021:
Before School Care (7:00am-8:30am)
Permanent: $15.50 per session
Casual: $17.50 per session
After School Care (3:00pm-6:15pm)
Permanent: $25.50 per session
Casual: $27.50 per session
Vacation Care (7:10am-6:15pm)
In-Centre Days: $70-78 per day
Incursion Days: $81-$84 per day
Excursion Days: $89-98 per day
Committee meetings start at 6:30pm and are held in the Library. All parents welcome and encouraged to attend, and child minding is now available during meetings in the OOSH room.
